Annual Pullet Sale set for Saturday, October 15th.

For several years we have hosted a very popular pullet sale for David’s Country Chickens. David is off to college but his sister, Emily has taken over the business.

Emily’s Country Chickens will be at the store on Saturday, October 15th starting at 10:00 with 125 pullets. These birds have been raised from chicks in a caring and clean environment and are now ready to find new homes. She will be bringing Ameraucanas, Light Brahmas, Red Star sexlinks, R.I.R., Silver Laced Wyandottes, and assorted exotics (Top Hats, etc). These chicks were hatched mid-July so she has a good idea which ones are cockerels and will not be bringing possible males.

She normally charges $20-25 each. She will start selling them at 10:00 and will be at the store until she runs out. The Eugene Backyard Farmer is only hosting the event so make your checks out to Emily.
